Dr Marianne Brandon is a clinical psychologist, Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, and Diplomate in sex therapy. She works with individuals and couples in her Boston office, and offers sex therapy and coaching via teletherapy outside of these jurisdictions. Dr Brandon is the author of Monogamy: The Untold Story and the ebook Unlocking the Sexy in Surrender: Using the Neuroscience of Power to Recharge Your Sex Life. She is co-author of Reclaiming Desire: 4 Keys to Finding Your Lost Libido. Dr Brandon served as a board member for an International Sexual Health Society, and co-hosted an exciting sex therapy radio show called "In Bed with Dr B and Ted". She completed her doctoral training at Ohio University, her internship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and a post-doctoral fellowship from the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr Brandon contributes regularly to professional publications, and lectures to sex therapists, physicians, psychologists, and the public. Her more recent professional writing includes articles and chapters on female sexuality, female low libido, male and female sexual dysfunction, aging and sex, and the challenges of monogamy. Dr Brandon is a member of the Massachusetts Psychological Association; the Maryland Psychological Association; the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology; the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists; the Society for Sex Therapy and Research; the International society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health; and the Human Behavior and Evolution Society. She is licensed in Massachusetts, Missouri, Maryland, Washington DC, Arizona and New York. The following are among the issues in which Dr Brandon has special interest and training: sex therapy, sexual desire disorders, marital/relationship problems, hypersexual behavior, monogamy and fidelity, affair recovery, depression, cultivating passion in long-term relationships, stress, anxiety, alternative sexual relationships, pain during intercourse, and erectile concerns. She has presented seminars on topics relating to personal growth, sex therapy, low libido in women, sexual dysfunction, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
