, some recommended interventions for the clinical management of HSDD are:
a. Hormones such as estrogen (local/systemic), DHEA (oral/vaginal), and off-label testosterone or CNS agents for both pre- and postmenopausal women.
b. CNS active agents, e.g. flibanserin and bremelanotide for premenopausal women.
c. Psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based CBT, sex therapy, and couples therapy for pre- and postmenopausal women.
